Patting myself on the back because I saw this coming. If you think Ver having feelings for Cain is surprising.... were you even paying attention to the story progression?
I really don't get how people can claim Ver sees Ken as a father figure. Especially after this last chapter. I won't say he doesn't want to properly fulfill the prophecy (I'm sensing some ulterior motive from him) but to say his feelings for Ken are completely platonic is so off base. This is the same man who phucked Ken in that seedy underground motel the first chance he got.

I was super excited to see a character with dark skin for a change but of course he has to be a fucking villain ┗( T﹏T )┛
