does everyone experience being an outsider?
If you mean feeling like you are an unwanted piece in a conversation, then sure. I bet everyone has experienced that at least once in their lifetime. Sometimes your presence is just unwanted y'know, and that's okay. Save yourself some face and time, leave the convo when your input is not needed. That's what I do.

What were the good and bad years for you these past 5 years?
Shitty years after shitty years. 2019 was the last decent year I had so far. 2020 - Grades kinda fell, but still manageable. I got into a bunch of fandoms and let me tell you, that shit is stupid. That was the reason behind my downfall. Note to self, never be a part of any fandom because I'll get nothing valuable from it. 2021 - Got hospitalized ......
