Sadly its true… the chinese fandom (target audience) can be very picky. Overall many artists are suffering attack, that included the 2ha manhua artist which changed TWICE, and the qian jin jiu manhua which ended up being dropped because of the massive hate (in case you’re wondering why its not updating).

Ppl blaming the child for acting apathetic when he was younger when his mother literally used to never show affection to him + strangled him on a daily basis. Then the one time she shows care for him, she kills herself while NEXT TO HIM. So yeah, no, I don't think it's fair to say he already had a "psychopathic" gene in him when he also clearly had a fucked childhood from the start.
That being said, it doesn't excuse how utterly sociopathic he is in now with the MC but it does make more sense now why he is the way he is.
