i guess everyone can already see that this season will be full of angst and pain with kyungjoon, the queen and the old man jaeshin tricked joined to stir some trouble. so here's what i think .
no matter how hard they try, lee nok still cant escape death. jaeshin will try whatever he can to keep lee nok alive and that means he's about to break some rules again. but then, lee nok still die (which might happen right infront of him) and lee nok last words to him is " wait for me until my next reincarnation" or smthing along the way. Then jaeshin received a heavier punishment that could be his exile to the human world for hundred of years or being locked in underworld for hundred of years. Then in the present days, jaeshin punishment ended and he went back to human world to find lee nok's reincarnation. When they met again, it was only jaeshin who remember everything.
though all of this is pretty cliche but im sure the author is gonna cook something a lot better than this

dont know of anyone notice but both of them having their hair down means they are very comfortable with each other. Lee nok was always wearing topknot in s1 and jaeshin wearing topknot in s2 because lee nok likes neat and clean things.
