Fist of all, that baby is made out of steel and no one can tell me otherwise. And it was obvious that Louis was the muderer's target. Maetel & Rafael have a passionate and toxic "love" towards Louis, they both love him so much they wanna kill him. Louis needs to run from the rapists, the murderer, the druger and the passionate crazy lovers.

I remember those chapters on the novel. Omg kinda had a lil mental breakdown bc she was soooo self conscious. We saw her think she was less than ordinary but she tries to keep her head up high and later Riftan will tell her a few things about his travels and everything and she feels bad bc the only time she stepped a foot out of the croix (crosso/ croyso) castle was to get to the calypse castle. Anyway, if I remember right, she will discover snow on that date and she won't believe Riftan when he'll tell her he walked on water (ice). Seriously heart breaking: since she doesn't know a lot except for the things she read or heard so she'll feel bad about having this grand man as husband "he deserves more than me" yk? On the other hand, he is conscious about not being able to make her feel as comfortable as in croix castle since her father is rich af. That slow burn is EVERYTHING but it's killing me
