He should have asked Xiao Shang first if it was okay to do so. So I think it's quite correct that Ah Xun allows Xiao Shang to stay with him as an apology for not having asked first whether or not he wanted to stay with Mi Xi.

Well firstly shang and the prince did the same thing by bringing them to the music room, even though xun didn't want to, so maybe he wanted that their relationship improves and honestly shang kissed the prince so often and even said those things to ah zhe, which the prince heard, so you can't tell me that he doesn't have feelings for the prince
Secondly we don't know what the prince said to xun about them staying in one room, maybe he said that shang agreed to it
Thirdly ... maybe he tried to be considerate and wanted that shang didn't waste any of his money, since he's living alone(i think so??) and working hard for it

I know, and I'm also giving my opinion. I think all this needs approval from *both* parts because a relationship is build between two individuals, and both parties must agree with the decisions made.

Tatsuyuki forgave him. And that doesn't erase what wrong Rogi did, but even after the whole nightmare, Tatsuyuki forgave him, and Rogi's still not happy.
So hey, I get it. Some of you may hate him but this is a manga, and I -plus other people- like the main character.

There is good in him. Those screencaps and Reika continuously growing up to be an independent and thoughtful woman. You are just so hung up about his misgivings that you are blinded to see the other sides of the character. Characters have more than one dimension, you know.
