I think its bc the MC genuinely has no attraction or feelings for the ML. ML does feel attracted to MC but he is a huge AH most of the time and a lot of it is he "thinks" he is attracted bc he gets those dreams which we know are actually his memories and not a manifestions of his desires..

Yeah, because I love slow burns but even in those stories by now there would be some kind of chemistry, from them it just feels like they don't like each other lol but I'll keep reading and see how it develops

1. Chase as a little girl was Josh's first love.
