Sure, his personality stayed the same, but for me, the "I only have one brain cell" personality only worked because of the gap moe (of him being buff and scary looking but is actually a softie and kind). Now that he's been turned into your average twink with the same genki personality, it's lost all its charm (which is kinda disappointing)
