agh realities of being an artist. yaguchi's perspective starts out as really limited and gradually grows and expands to such a great extent. and his struggles with being an artist and what that means to him vs other people was done very well!! do also love that he retained most of his characteristics, and that his art is mainly about finding connection with people, which is something that he does quite well and enjoys doing. picking a hell that you could live with indeed.

this one is actually a seinen lol (despite what crunchyroll may lead you to believe). loving the case format, and how maomao refuses to get involved in any drama yet gets roped into it via her own curiosity. plot gets more complex as you go along which is fun too! lots of amazing women, and gets really into it with dark topics (pedophilia, sex work, sexual assault, etc), yet does it tastefully. kinda funny how maomao and jinshi have a danmei dynamic? anyway transwoman jinshi real

ok not seinen/josei, but i like it enough so i'm going to include. ahh insane story, everyone has so much depth and complexity, and it's so realistic w/ it's depiction of kpop fandoms. mc's backstory realistically affects him and there's not the mary sue syndrome/ face slapping that you get with a lot of entertainment manhwas. won't include spoilers in this (bc the spoilers are a part of what makes it a fav), but this one is like a little treat on a bad day!

this isn't a romance, but? like the mcs aren't in a relationship, but you can feel their chem in every interaction. love a power couple as well, esp since they're very in line with the other's morals. mc has a very interesting mindset, very nonchalant and chill, but willing to get his hands dirty. fl is extremely powerful, very old and naive at the same time, but knows what she wants and how to get it. very good dynamic, and the worldbuilding remains captivating.
