Idk why yall mad at the mother when clearly she made that decision when she wasn't in her right mind. Obviously she can't think straight at that time. The father is the duke so he in fact have a say in the punishment. He can prevent it if he wanted to but he didn't

in the novel it's abundantly obvious that he uses his ability in mostly just one or two scenes. his ability to ON/OFF his acting is his talent. that isnt his ability. he himself is an amazing actor already.
His maestro skill is not helping brownblack to sing better they're already good at singing what it do is to gain confidence and trust in group so that they can perform confidently in stage cuz as you can see when mc look at them their trust to each others are not high at all and it's more like a guide yeah?
That skill is like a teacher or a conductor he doesn't improve their abilities he just guides them with the ability and now the guys can already manage themselves without the skill
I think he should use his abilities since it's his own abilities that he worked hard to earn.
I think you forgot the main part of why he can use those abilities: all those abilities were used and created by him in all of his previous lives. Those belonged to him and were all skills that he spend multiple lifetimes improving. It’s not like he’s using other’s special powers, he’s using his own from the past. He’s able to only use them as temporary abilities now because it would be overwhelming for him to actually keep all of those skills within his current human body.
