Honestly, I don't know how the death flags in this story work because by technicality she herself should have died at infancy but she managed to avoid that. She also managed to bring down the two main antagonists and the evil minister Guy, yet the people she's closest with keep dying or ALMOST dying on her. It's like the story WANTS certain things to stay but with others it's like whatever(?) I saw Someone mentioned that whatever supernatural force that put her there is punishing her for messing with the flow of the story so much or something. IDK

i think its cuz this is (imo) a well written toxic relationship. usually i hate reading such stories cuz theyre toxic just for the sake of it, but here the characters are rly fleshed out. like, even if u hate the character youll still be able to see why they turned out the way they did. in the beginning i thought it was one of those cold duke of the north & miserable fl trope but its not. both of the characters are really flawed, but u still end up rooting for them. so yeah!!! i dont think its like the others
