Here’s my theory… lily is the emperor’s first brother’s child who is the priest at the temple. He was able to tell the difference because he knows his daughter who has his power and probably tampered with an oracle or gave a false one so that the emperor could sacrifice his daughter/child with the most power. He got angry when the emperor sacrificed his daughter instead and then sent her back with stronger powers which helped her make the emperor go crazy and kill his kids(cos how does the temple just disappear after she came back) (╬￣皿￣)凸 Jenkinson is so sad ╥﹏╥
