The arc where joowon’s asshat behaviour is explained and given a chance to be liked by the reader before he gets dumped in the ‘didnt end up with uke pile’. Haesoo is ending up with the taku dude .-. I agree with you. All of them need help lol and have done things wrong, but joowon is very explosive and outwards with his feelings, so he feels the most genuine to me. Haesoo is like, oh I am gonna protect myself from getting hurt, but he just gets himself even more involved with him and they just don't move forward. Taku seems like a robot to me and I don't think he genuinely likes haesoo. All 3 are very selfish in how they behave

Idk maybe he should show a lil more than just sexual interest in haesoo? He just seems stuck in the mysterious phase of his character and i might be speaking too soon but maybe in the upcoming chapters he’ll be more Open and be as confident in expressing his love for haesoo just as he is with taking the initiative to create a sexy mood.
I hope the upcoming chapters clear the air for taku since the manga is still on going.

This is beautiful and a mf elegant manga just like the uke, the seme needs to do alot of work on his personality but he is changing and thats what makes these stories so enticing T_T and is there any kind soul who had the raws of the manga?
Okay so, i’ve read the manga, watched both the anime and the live action drama and i’d say if youre in the story for the shounen-ai (yes shounen ai, this fluff ball romance aint turning yaoi....unless the manga artist listen to my requests and gives us sum good ol’ steamy scenes o.o) then the manga is way to go, it shows the growing bond of lan and wei the most prominently after which comes the live action which follows mostly true to the story but it falls behind on the intimate moments of lan and wei and then lastly comes the anime which is basically action, very minimal emphasis on lan and wei’s relationship. The storyline of the manga is very strong and interesting enough on its own even without the BL theme, i know 100+ chps is a long read but if you enjoy historical action plots with supernatural themes, this manga is worth the read. (Also the art of the manga changes a bit but its still not so bad)
Actually, these are all adapted from the novel, which i fully read and is NOT only shounen ai! The novel has tons of yaoi besides the cute stuff, but due to censorship in china, only the novel could express the whole package :< the manga won't go much further than kissing that's for sure, and maybe would lightly hint at the other stuff but i highly doubt any of THE scenes are going to be explicitly drawn. HOWEVER, if you want the nice steam (and don't mind reading like,,,, 126 chapters?? Or just the extra chaps that have most of the LEmoNs) read the novel! (⌒▽⌒). But if u don't like reading, the manga IS pretttyyy accurate and the best adaptation in my opinion!
