Oh my god thank you for saying this This is really what sets Brian and Ian apart but they are still the same person. People still hate Ian and prefer Brian but no one has the brain to think critically that growing up in Derwin and getting watched by Heron are the reason why Ian is a changed new person than he was Brian. If Ian was born in a different country and was given freedom, he would have grown up like Brian.

I really hope the dad didn't know he had a baby but I think it's very possible that he knew and was just a deadbeat because that's what this story does best. show you that humans are grey not black and white and you can be a bad person and still change but idk I'm still coping with the he must have not known he had a son
I read this first when it was ongoing, loved it then and after rereading it for the second time I love it even more. The story gets frustrating at times when you're waiting for each chapter but honestly that just shows how the emotions are so real in this. As a clinically depressed person this has one of the best depictions of depression specially from the perspective of an avoidant person.
"How nice would it be if I could just take a pill and get better like most people. It's like I'm being punished for not being able to achieve happiness"
This dialogue broke me... still makes me emotional. Anyways I love all the characters and inwoo's happy ending gives me so much hope. It's one of those stories that you can't help but come back to. I hope it gets even more popular and I'm waiting impatiently for the side stories.
