I don't care for the soldier. Seems quite obvious to me that the kids are not monsters, and they likely didn't kill the male soldier. Why would you trust a bunch of masked adults with guns over some little children who are crying and scared?
Wish it followed just the kids
It has potential but it's so slow-paced and filled with just thoughts of the soldier, who I'm not sympathetic to. It's kind of boring

Damn this goes crazy! The suspense is so thick because of the claustrophobia, cosmic horror, and darkness.

I feel iffy about how there are no stakes, if you die, you just go back to your world, if you win, you get rewards. Not the death game I expected... just a game.
But it is interesting. There are cool character designs.
