it's wild that such a talented illustrator would pick such controversial stories to draw. they could have much wider commercial appeal if they released less violent series

That’s true, the story is super successful in Korea despite the initial controversy surrounding its release. The merchandise that came out when the story was only about six or seven chapters in sold out as well.
god i forgot how depressing the after story is. like the whole thing is awful but then the after story just removes any amount of hope you could have for mc. he can't have one single good thing in his life!!!!!!!!
