It's been forever since the last update i need more

Ahh i think you meant shounen ai, they're both BL btw. And i think this one doesn't have an official English translation that's why no one even cared to make a fan transition of it. Also it being shounen ai might also be the reason it's been neglected like you said which is sad. I really wanted to read it :(
I also searched it up on other websites but couldn't find it..

yeah i always get the terms mixed up whoops Billi Billi needs to come back fr it had so many chinese Bls that wouldve never been seen in the West if it weren't for the app and their eng translations┗( T﹏T )┛ I have the Chinese Billi Billi but it doesnt have an eng option so navigating it is really hard;; Idk if its on there but maybe I could try looking?
i came here after seeing some queer manga recs and thought it was a gl?? lol who queerbaited me T^T
Umm this is quuerrr thoughhh....
Queer doesn't have to be specifically about same sex relationships, it's about gender norms too
It ain't straight either bcs they already like each other even without knowing what their gender is
Defying gender norms when you still identify as straight/cisgender doesn't always make you queer. same for crossdressing and being a drag king/queen. but since you mentioned they were drawn to each other without knowing their gender, it can imply their attraction isn't limited to the opposite sex, thus suggesting queer theme/representation. however, if we're referring to the "queer romance" label, you're wrong, this is straight. Just because your relationship doesn't follow the traditional role or one of them might be queer, your relationship is still considered hetero as it's between two opposite sex people. the tag is defined according to who you’re dating right now, not your or your partner’s sexuality.
Eg. Transwoman dating a guy, is a hetero relationship obviously but it falls under the queer romance tag because of her identity.
Eg. Bisexual woman dating a bisexual guy, both of them are queer except it’s just a straight relationship involving queer characters.
In conclusion, if they're queer then it is just a straight romance with queer subtext/elements not queer romance.
if they're not, then it's just a regular crossdressing straight romance.
even if the guy is actually the woman and the woman is actually the guy in their relationship.
“It ain't straight either bcs they already like each other even without knowing what their gender is”
Only their attraction at the first encounter is queer, because it suggests their fascination with someone of the same sex. their relationship is technically straight. Hope that explains it.
That's kinda invalidating the sexual orientations of people in male x female relationships tho...
Care to elaborate?
Which part did you mean? My saying or the other person’s statement?
Your statements
You're kinda invalidating a whole part of someone's identity just because of the gender of their partner
People in those kinds of relationships (like bi people in relationships with the opposite gender) don't like it when their relationship is referred to as "straight"
"Bisexual woman dating a bisexual guy, both of them are queer except it’s just a straight relationship involving queer characters. " so basically it's still queer..?? Isn't that what they r showing in the manga??? they like each other regardless of gender so that doesn't make them straight??? And op stated about how they were recommended queer manga recommendations NOT queer relationships. Basically anything related to being queer is counted as a queer representation?
Sorry short term memory, I read this days ago but didn't bother to reply and I got lazy to read it again, basically op didn't specify if they were looking for queer representation or queer relationships. But this manga still have queer representations so that's why I said my statement
I would say that anything related to queer counts as queer representation because the label is about being under a massive umbrella and so forcing it into a box is doing a disservice to it and invalidating anyone who doesn’t fall into the binary. I would caution on policing the terms of queerness. So many of us choose this label for its freedom and soon as we start setting strict confines the more exclusionary it gets and there’s already too much of that in the LGBTQ community as it is
You misunderstood me, I'm not invalidating that. What I said is partially true. Not all bi relationships (between the opposite sex) are always labeled as a queer romance/relationship. I didn't say "since they're not dating the same-sex, I invalidated their identity as no longer being queer." What I want to imply is that their relationship might not be queer, if queerness isn't explored as a part of their bond. some bi opposite sex relationships are straight-coded and queerness is never mentioned but it certainly has queer element because of their identity. then it's just a straight romance with queer themes/representation. it's not automatically a queer romance or relationship, the label is depend on the flow and centre of their relationship whether queerness is relevant. it's not only based on their identity.
It wouldn't be suitable to count a straight-coded relationship as a queer romance just because both or one is queer.
Yes it's still queer as in themes/subtext but not always a queer romance or relationship, if the topic of queerness is irrelevant.
In addition, I think the OP most likely meant they got yuribaited. they referred to the queer romance part specifically sapphism. not the queer concept as a whole.
Yes.
I didn't disprove it to not be queer, it's still queer it's just not usually queer romance/relationship.
On a personal side note, I thought it was either about a friendship between queer crossdressing guy and his stud bestie revolving fashion or a queer romance between a masc lesbian x lesbian transwoman (which is what I'm hoping for the most). anyway, ever since I know they like one another before the true gender is revealed, I already got an impression that this story contains queer representation.
Yes that's exactly what i meant lmao idk why ppl are pissed and still dragging it lol
I don’t think anyone is pissed here, they misinterpreted what you’ve said and were only trying to convince you that it’s queer themes (which is true).
