Thing is: in most languages „uncle“ doesn’t mean someone you‘re related with by blood/in a sense of family. But in the context of this story, well for me as of ch. 2, it seems like as if they are indeed somehow related family wise. Blood related or not, him saying „nephew“ was not necessary and ruined the entire concept of it just being a normal „age gap story“.

It’s so sweet, without a hint of toxicity. Ao and Haru truly love each other as friends, so after taking things further in their relationship, they continue to treat each other well. I want to see more of this in BL. Seme that respect boundaries and understand the word “consent,” and uke that are straightforward about what they want. I wish this manga was longer
The anime is one of my favorites of all time, and the manga’s not as good (a 9 rather than a 10 for me, which is still great of course), but it’s also worth reading. The story will always bring me to tears, no matter how many times I watch or read it. It’s so special
