I agree as well it is a bit iffy but to be truthfully honest i have seen worse and know someone with an age gap of 20 years
considering her mental age is not 18 but probably older, i think it's fine too ^^
in those times 27 is actually young for a man to marry. young girls mostly married off to a much older guys then 30 soo.... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

What I summed up was that uh theobald the prince wants someone to put him as first priority and only that would be considered as loving him ..basically he yearns for that kind of affection(motherly affection I think) since he missed out on it as a child .. and so he sees how Shuli is towards her family and is obsessed with her bc he wants to be treated the same way as shuli treats those kids? (He thinks it’s love but it really is just an obsession) And all this is bc that’s how he imagines his mother would have been with him if she were alive

this is tragic... i cried so hard throughout this whole think and my heart just wrenches for the MC. he truly deserves better and although the ambiguous ending was nice i personally would’ve preferred a clear end cus i’m just lost. i loved this story a lot it was just so beautifully heart breaking. my heart goes out to MC
