I think high school is a big joke. It really doesn't prepare you for anything and its such a drag. Don't worry about your appearance or personality because nobody will really care/gossip unless you look like you are homeless (which I assume is not the case). I don't know why you ask hate Sakura so much. All in all she's not weak and get character development was pretty good. Now friggin Momo from Bleach; kudos to her cuz she takes first place in my book. Not only is she useless AF but she definitely causes everyone so many fucking problems including herself.
