I like this a lot. The mc is really pretty and the artstyle shows it really well. The artist doesn't overdo it. There's an actual connection between mc and the male lead too

I don't see it as switching up, but instead it's more like feeling empathy towards him regarding his shitty childhood. Don't get it twisted a lot of us can still not like Heongjae but feel bad for him and how he's been used and abused since childhood. Two things can be true at the same time.

All you people do is come back here with every update and act like someone forced you to read this. I used to hate-read some mangas too but it's genuinely not worth it + you're annoying af. You click on a dark, disturbing manhwa and then act surprised when it's dark and disturbing. It's not done yet, everything can change, we can still get so much development but you're already complaining and calling it trash. I don't know what you expected but this is not romance. The two tops are in prison for actual crimes. Heonjae is an actual psychopath, not a romance manga psychopath who changes magically for the person he likes and is terrible towards everyone BUT them. I think the part with the teacher really adds to the whole dark vibe of this story and that was the author's goal. I can agree that there's too much sex. I would rather get more bonding or something but at the end of the day, the whole premise of the story is that a little guy gets sent to prison, has to survive there so he makes a deal with the two most dangerous guys and instead of getting beaten up daily or whatever else was waiting for him before, now he's forced to have sex with them but he's also being protected by them. That's it. They got closer since the beginning and there's this plotline with the letters etc etc so it's not just sex but you have to remember it's a prison BL manhwa.
Maybe in another one there would be an ikemen who's the most dangerous guy in the prison but is super kind to the mc and they bond and fall in love, marry and live together after getting out like any other couple. The top is so perfect that he doesn't even resemble a person with criminal history with the tendency for violence and mc is unproblematic too of course. I'm sure there are many manhwas like that.

if ppl want a fluffy prison story, read restricted area (danmei). It pm fits the description this person wrote about kind top powerful prisoner LOOL. Though the mc is a prison guard that works in the library and likes spying on the inmates. ML is his former neighbor that he used to spy on. They def are problematic, but not anything like slammer dogs (mostly voyeurism and the MC thinking every person that breaks a law is inherently evil scum of the earth)
