apparently so. you could see Seungbae speeding to get to Bum and Bum runs out during the crosswalk while it was green but then it turns red, allowing cars to go. Seungbae didn't seem to be paying attention either so it would make sense that Bum was hit.
i’m pretty sure it’s assumed that he did. if you remember, sangwoo told bum once he dies then bum needs to die too so i’m thinking his mind drove him to his death because of that promise
