I hope she gets what she fú*kïng deserve (︶︿︶)=凸

IDK I feel sorry for her.
The character's actions, although underhanded and mean, are motivated by her desire to protect her sister's happiness in a patriarchal society where women are treated as second-class citizens. With limited options and no agency to help her sister achieve independence, she feels forced to take drastic measures to ensure her sister's well-being.
In this context, it's difficult to view her as the main villain when the true enemy is the patriarchal system that objectifies and marginalizes women. Even the few good guys (except the ML) in the story struggle to view women as equals, highlighting the deeply ingrained sexism that perpetuates the oppression of women.
In a society where women's options are limited to marrying rich, being a spinster, or facing poverty, there's no easy choice. You'd be forced to weigh your sister's survival against her happiness. Marriage to a "creep" might secure her future, but at a cost. Without societal change offering women education and economic independence, these impossible dilemmas persist. (remember, the main character even had to pretend she was still married even though her husband was dead, just to protect herself and her daughters... and what little money she had how much she had to spend it on gowns also her daughters can go to these balls in order to find a husband and for Cinderella to find her prince charming... before MAGIC MAN came along to help... doesn't that tell you something?)

You're right, she may have had good intentions for her sister, but that didn't mean she can be forgiven for her underhanded methods. She still chose to sabotage and harm others for personal gain, not showing any remorse and just waving it off as a mistake when she unknowingly said those cruel things to the daughter. And I don't remember if the sister was going to be forced to marry an old man or not, but as far as I know, she told her sis to not do harm to them and also told her sister that she doesn't like the Duke(altho, maybe in denial) but she's forcing it even tho the sister wasn't comfortable with what she's doing. It almost feels like it's for her own satisfaction and just using her sister as an excuse. And when the consequences of her actions came, she realized she f**ed up.
I just don't feel/see it in her that she's doing it cuz of the things your saying, the vibe/attitude she's showing says other wise (as of chap.139). She's not like that lady from the hospital, but then again explanations could be shown in later chapters ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I completely understand why you might view her actions as underhanded, but for me, it's hard not to sympathize with someone who's fighting against a society that denies them basic rights and autonomy.
"Look at what's happening today – we're facing our own struggles with equality and justice. It's frustrating to see our rights being eroded, and it's even harder when we're expected to empathize with those who are actively working against us.
"In the Victorian era, women were treated as second-class citizens, and it's heartbreaking to imagine living in a time where your voice, your choices, and your future were constantly controlled by others.
"Given the constraints and limitations placed on her, I can understand why she might have felt forced to take drastic measures. It's not about condoning her actions, but rather about recognizing the desperation and frustration that can come from being marginalized and oppressed.
"I think we can all relate to that feeling of powerlessness, especially when it comes to our own struggles for equality and justice today. So, while her actions might not have been perfect, I can understand the motivations behind them.

Oh yea, I can sympathize and understand what's going on, it's just that she's not a very likeable character and we started this story by Mildred's and fam. pov so normally of course I'll be on their side. It would've been different if the author showed her with more character instead of a generic bad guy on the side ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

I agree. Part of that may have come from protectiveness, but I feel a lot of what she did stemmed from vanity, jealousy, and self conceit. It was vindictive to the point of harassment, fraud, desecration of human remains, attempted kidnapping, and attempted murder. She also seemed to conveniently ignore that the MC was the one that risked her life to save the sister. So no, I don't feel bad for her.

Hear hear! Very well said. It feels like the older sister plotted that scheme not to secure the future of the younger sister, but for her own personal gain. She had set her sights on the Baron for her younger sister, so when the Baron turned out to like someone else, things didn't go the way she wanted them to. So she attacked an innocent mother, placed the said mother's children's lives into danger, and tried to ruin the family's social reputation, thereby inadvertently nearly jeopardizing the children's futures of getting married.
She was so flippant about how her actions could have harmed others, so prideful in her debates with the Baron and Iris, so malicious in attacking the family. But when she realized that the Baron wouldn't turn the other cheek, she suddenly turns meek and humble, crying and begging for forgiveness. Asking for consideration of her younger sister's prospects to be married...as if she didn't nearly ruin the Vance sisters' prospects of getting married too. Not to mention staining the family reputation of a princess candidate! Oh good golly gosh, gee, I wonder how that would affect Iris's chances of winning, or her future political influence? Not a lot right? *sarcasm

I don't want Bada to be left here stuck forever or something (my Cleithrophobia is being triggered only) ╥﹏╥ I feel like Doha is willing to stay with him in the game, but I really wanna see what happens if they or at least one of them can/get to scape in the real world, and I really want Bada to scape, out of all of them he's the one who really wants to scape that he'll hole of a game, I mean most of them gave up -aside from Doha and Seongchan, those biches ╥﹏╥ (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ doing my baby boy Bada that dirty ┗( T﹏T )┛
