they’re kinda right though. i can’t give you an exact example or time stamp as to when or who wrote those type of comments but there were people who were saying that they thought MC was grooming ML or smth of that nature (even though that’s not the case at all), which made them uncomfortable or just leaving them not knowing how to feel about the book’s plot.

Theyre not right. Just because many people said something doesn’t make it true. One person asked if it was pedophilia because they hadn’t read the story in a while and would not be reading anything containing pedophilia/grooming. People blew that comment ridiculously out of proportion and made it such a big deal. Like the original commenter here and the person responding to me.
