I think I know why Luca hates Rudiger so much despite adoring him the first time!! If this is Luca’s second life too, then his hate may come from thinking that Rudiger abandoned him by sacrificing himself so easily for him. Like how dare he put his precious life down just like that, as if he didn’t want to be alive anymore with Luca? That may also explain why Luca wanted Judith to come with him so badly. I have a second theory (one i’m a bit less confident in) that he wanted to bring Judith with him so that she can be the one to die in Rudiger’s place!
