yeah that's how i see it too, based on milton's story and k's inner monologue, they seem to act more like animals over time (milton wanting to breastfeed calves and k wanting to keep his eggs) so g makes these medicines to stop them from acting that way (since he said the medicine he gives k dissolves the eggs) but i think it does more harm than good? cuz it's like suppressing their animal instincts? maybe that's also why he doesn't like little a since little a accepts their animal characteristics, g probably sees it as a nuisance idk

depending on how you look at it, i think G is still in the grey area! what G is doing is "more harm than good" for their slowly turning into beasts selves, but ultimately "helping" their human selves who resented being transformed out of their will. so im all for him doing his thing hahahah i think he's rlly interesting sofar it's intriguing how author put a human character insisting on making others humans.
