I don't think Enzo spiked his drink, he looked appalled that Rian even suggested that he did it. I also think it wouldnt make sense narratively for him to spike the drink because Enzo sees Rian as an equal and would like to go against him as an equal (the saloon incident was like that because Enzo is a freak but I don't think he'd rape Rian because of this little game he's playing with him)

it pains me to see people hate on jiho and not understand his character. like, if you're gonna hate on him at least take the time to understand what kind of character he is and what kind of story this is the author never set this up as a romcom type of love story bc you could always tell that jiho was the type to run away and default to things that will hurt in order to distract himself from his problems. he was able to feel comfortable with yoojoon but the second that was slightly compromised, he chose to ran away in order to preserve the idea/memory of yoojoon as something pure and sweet in his mind. that's why he thought of yoojoon while he and the older brother of the girl were going at it.

jiho was never set up to be a good person. he's complex, hurt, scared, lonely, and imperfect which is what makes him compelling. i've said this before, but i really enjoyed how this author writes imperfect characters and how it makes them feel more like people who make mistakes.

people are hating him because he ran away and wasn't loyal to yoojoon and left yoojoon, but you also have to remember that jiho probably never intends/expects to run into yoojoon again and he probably thinks that yoojoon is over him bc jiho hates himself and can't accept the fact that he's so important/has made such an impact on someone's life that it de-rails them forever. also, even in the way he treated yoojoon in the beginning made it obvious he doesn't expect people to like him for himself. even jiho's dad told him that no one cares if he doesn't do anything because he has a pretty face. growing up with his mom and dad and the environment he did, his low self-esteem and general distaste for life and forming meaningful relationships makes sense, which also enforces why he was so afraid to let yoojoon in.

LOL sorry i went on a long rant. anyways this probably isn't going to be a super fluffy and happy story, so it makes sense as to why people are upset and dropping it, but if you really look at and examine the characters, this gets really interesting because it's not a plot-driven story. it's a character-driven one.

ngl im into this. it reminds me of a movie with messy plots and messy people and it makes it feel more realistic with how jiho is so used to just running away and how he doesn't even know the chaos he left yoojun in. im excited to see where this goes especially with the girl's older brother now in the mix.

i think, if you read the author's other work: Hate Mate, the you will kind of get a feel for the type of story that the author likes to tell and it's really interesting how realistic some aspects can be and how the author explores unlikeable characters
