It honestly irked me how they were raised as siblings and ended up as lovers sm that I dropped this long ago. Imo the romance can't be justified bc in my eyes how they acted towards each other in the beginning was how you acted w your sibling. Dont get me wrong, the story was actually smt I loved from what I remembered (It was one of my first manhwas and I started reading roughly around the first release back in 2021-2022)
Can't say anything abt the story past the change in relationship bc like I said, I dropped it when I heard the spoiler abt how they ended up together. So it might actually be a good story that's getting overshadowed by the moral conflict it causes.
Another reason I dropped this was bc I had a realisation the art was dogshit (in kinder terms it wasn't my taste, despite the hard work the artist put in)
Im usually for these type of stories, especially when the main characters are hella hot, specifically the FL who has gorgeous black hair and fluttering eyelashes.
However, the villains are shallow asf and the story is generic + repetitive imo.
When I mean the villains are shallow, I mean they aren't really well written.
Also the way they're lwk js psychotic mental patients that make creepy faces gives me a huge ick.
Idk maybe I'm just being a hater and should just wait until this gets more chapters.

In all serious tho I think hess has been so caught up in getting revenge for kael as just an ‘admirer’ she forgot to see herself as a person in the actual story, a wife, a partner, and someone kael loves. It’s probably a problem with how she still sees this as still a novel, and cant accept the fact shes now a character, for her own sake and goal of ever returning back home to her og world.
