was judging from the cover that this is gonna full of drama but it's not messy at all. the teach is likeable and handle things like adult, the romance between both main characters is naturally evolved, no unnecessary chasing arc, they're all on the balanced portion. if you want to feel teenage romance, then you come to the right series
i saw some commenters kinda get disappointed with woo-hyun, but how come y'all forget the fact that he was a teenager dealing with first love? it's just natural that he would get the hint that he moved on from the teach later when do-ha wasn't around. they were kids trying to figure out what they're actually feeling, so everything they did make sense in a way

i've read this halfway through and just to notice that ail, the redhead crown prince, lived up his hair color and it means he's a real red-flag in the novel. i came here because the art is majestic and they don't have any major changes in this manhwa adaptation (it's just the novel interpret into drawings)
i haven't yet get any development for ail's character, and their relationship is somewhat full of misunderstanding due to the difference in personalities. apparently they liked each other, but neither of them confessed or even realizing it (ail is kinda denial though)
the plot is kinda toxic but oddly enough, it's addicting. im not even lying, you can just check the novel yourself

re-reading from the very first chapter after watch a news that this gonna be serialized into bl drama this mid-year. i expected it to be very touche since this original work is intended to be melodrama. think about da-on's situation, it's not that different with most straight romance korean dramas which has poor mc and then get tangled with men with very different background
spoiler: difference is, he would end up not with the crappy ml who has personality disorder
while i liked the drama along these 100+ chapters, i think most of them would be settled if only they agreed to be in poly rls, no joke. when i was reading this the first time years back, i despised soo-hyun too much that i dropped it and never give it another try, but now i kinda saw him from a different light. the root problem of their entanglement was always da-on. his wishy-washy personality became big reason why they had this weird relationship. but his personality didn't come out nowhere, he developed it after his family situation. the biggest villain here is actually his broke, good for nothing parents. da-on was always insecure and poor, so he always rate himself below anybody else, utmostly jae-min
da-on was in love with jae-min, but then jae-min and his fucked up brain was in denial because he thought da-on would always end up running back to him no matter what he did. it was a genuine love at first, but it turned toxic after all the mind manipulations and guilt-tripping from both ends. jae-min always had this confidence until soo-hyun came to da-on's life and swept his feet off
soo-hyun could've been great potential, until he became obsessive and coercive later. the dynamic between him and da-on is enjoyable, he just made wrong step to be involved within a pact with jae-min
da-on was in love with both of them at the same time. the entanglement he had with soo-hyun mixed up with the unrequited love he buried for jae-min. and that's not weird, it could happen sometimes. but they couldn't end up together because it only turned into something that's unhealthy, and they all know about it
sung-hyeon's character development is something that couldn't be brushed off. he reminded us that we can always grow love from nothing, and first impression can change after time
hence why the ending somewhat realistic because what da-on needed is not dragging some unfinished business from the past, but to accept that life goes on even if you have something you held dear and couldn't let go but eventually you had to

just finished reading after three time postponing and let it rest on the bookmark because people always say this manhwa is so horrible. not to diminishing the violence and cruel scenes that happened in the first arc but it kinda get better later after the first season; still can be trigger for somebody who has trauma over gang-rape though
i don't read the novel so i don't exactly know whether they regressed to the past or having another leap in another lifetime, but aeroc sure remembers all of the things he once experienced hence why he often get panic attacks when something reminded him. no explanation as why he 'turned' into omega though he doesn't drink any meds in this lifetime, as if the writer just want it to be like that for the sake of the story lol (maybe we'll get to see baby again)
not to justify what kloff did in season 1, but some readers here tend to forget that he and his persona from the past ain't the same 'person'. he never laid hands or gets violent with aeroc in this lifetime. he barely remembered some scenes and it haunted him in his sleeps. i wonder if he would remember all things clearly, he'd never even dare to put hands on aeroc due to the guilt. as to why aeroc still drawn to kloff even though he knew what made him suffered until his death, my guess is because his feelings transcends time. their relationship could've grown big if both of them were honest and speak their true feelings since begin with. kloff was scared he would be rejected because he thought aeroc was beyond his level, that's why he ran for something stable and safer, which is building relationship with rapiel, an omega. he fell in love with aeroc but never had chance to let the love blooms. while aeroc also had barrier as an aristocrat, what would people say if he courted kloff, who's lowly noble, and on top of that all, an alpha like him?

look i think lister deep down is fond over sylhan but he's just your ordinary tsundere who can't just be honest to his feeling and keep denial because of his ego. he might like sylhan even before the latter fell from grace, and it makes them having barrier to ever become casual like when they were children. i might think he would be potential love rival if only he's not violent and acting very rude towards sylhan
take the 'honey' out of the title and voila, you'll get a quick blurb about what's happening in this series. i finished season 1 and this actually started kinda cute with ji-heon and his gold retriever energy, clinging to woo-ju everywhere he goes. but chapter after chapter it's getting weird and he becomes very coercive. sex in latest chapter of season 1 even looked dubious af, woo-ju told him to stop but he just dissmissed it
i was thinking that the professor's figure would be better but he's at par with ji-heon. wasn't gonna put too much thought to his appearance that looks forced at first, but if you read again, that's just unnatural if this was ever happened irl. your prof approached you when he barely know anything about you and offered a gig at his office? he kinda put his personal and professional matters at one pot and blame it on his interest to woo-ju?
how come woo-ju also too naive beyond his good. he's 25 and he just let these childish men roam around him without having basic conscience that they're rude. or is it because he used to get spoiled by his parents?
idk this makes me feel kinda stupid to continue reading, but the art is too pretty =(
