MAAAANNNN HOW I LOVE THIS MANGA AND I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH and the fact that im almost catch up reading until the latest chapter made me sad because dandadan is such an enjoyable and emotional ride from the very first chapter. for the mix or seriousness and comedy content i could say this is the only manga that's in the same level of satisfaction you'd get from gintama. the mixed reference of pop culture like the name of zuma (maybe from the game zuma frog), le miserables with the jean valjean, the spirals from uzumaki; also the bitter history of past war and also japanese folklore like turbo-baba, slitmouthed woman, and kasa-obake etc etc. the character development is also satisfying, we watched every one of the character grow up and become lovable in their own way, kinda proved that humans indeed can grow if they're given the chances. i didn't like aira at first but she grows from being a pick me girl to one of the best girl in shounen manga. ALSO ALSO i can't help but to like rokuro aka the serpo alien like gaahhhhhh everybody is in the team right now
damn this vamola arc makes me weep like a kid. the author never chill in every backstory of his characters

both director and gi-do are decent men and i feel bad that ju-hyeok only got to choose one of them. seeing the flashback chapter of their friendship kinda hurt because it's normal and relatable when you fall in love with your own friend there's plenty things to consider to so the only right thing to do is surpressing the feeling out of the fear that you gonna ruin the friendship if the relationship couldn't work out. they had mutual feelings to each other, im glad they can confess and said it out loud rn but i would lie if i say i don't want to see gi-do is the one ended up with ju-hyeok instead
