They're stuck on the fence until a partner brings out their second gender. What they'll be, Alpha or Omega, depends on who their partner is. It's also said they're rare.
Since Chase was a dominant Alpha, if there are any Gammas in proximity they could transition into omegas with his overwhelming pheromones. That might cause complications in his situation, that's why it was asked.

I think in the novel the gammas were mentioned when Mark's team replaced the original bodyguard team.
Gammas are rare. Most of the bodyguards of dominant alphas are gammas. Keith Pittman also has gamma bodyguards. They are the least affected by pheromones and it's much more difficult to turn them.
If they even survive being turned, they became very weak and their lifespan shortens, it get's worse when they give birth.
Chase's grandfather was gamma turned omega.

It works a lot different with these hybrid animals, like a normal dog or animal, they grow up within 1-2 years, which is how it is in this manhwa. The ML saves the hybrid when it’s a baby and decided to keep it. So with these concepts it’s hard to determine age gap bc you can look at it in wolf years. The concept is quite foreign and weird of you think of it as two humans. You can give it a try to test the waters

Tbhhhh it’s abit messy in the beginning— s2 sort of is better at least in terms of following the story but a lot of drama and angst happens unlike s1 which had little story moments but a lot of smut (if you’re not into that then yeah itll be kinda ehh) the mc has two guys that are after him being his first fwb and the other whos a silly otaku for him. The mc also had a lover now ex from when he was in hs (who has now came back into the story but he sucks ass so you don’t have to worry about him being an option nor does the mc like him anymore) but the other two guys are at arms with each other because they both like the mc but the mc got trauma from his ex about dating/being in love that he cut off all that and only does casual sex but now he’s starting to fall in love— but I won’t tell you who it is if you’re interested you’ll have to read it yourself but tbh you may end up regretting it LOL it takes a whileee for it to get there (Im too locked in to be saved now)
