It was never confirmed by the end, but it's clear during the trial period, he was keeping up his relationship with the other subs.
Though from the interraction we see with the sub, it seems Masa was helping him out but not necessarily having anything truly "done" to himself during the trial period.
i cannot explain just how emotional it makes me to see them being so happy and domestic. seonwoo had shitty actions in the past and he had a bad personality for a long time but all he needed was love.
