It is one sided for a while. Aileen does eventually get a human form and their first meeting is...hehe, a big explosion. But btw her and Sejun, there's a crazy power difference, so he passed out almost immediately. And it repeats, over and over. 10 sec meeting, Sejun passes out. No matter how strong he gets, Aileen is getting stronger too. But in the most up to date novel chapters, before he passes out, there's a moment that goes "No kiss?" Not super clear whether it's Aileen or Sejun thinking that. But Sejun thinks she's gorgeous and is going along with it, so that's nice? {*≧∀≦}

They're different people. The live action bf is based on someone that appear in manga but the action are very different. Hatano (the black hair one) is the only one active pursing MC at the moment.
