Theory:
As much as I want Jin and Jian to get together, I think they don't love each other... yet.
Jian is looking for another body to use, and it kind of looks like he is attracted to Jin because Jin doesn't want him (and of course he is sexy and keeps Jian's secret of going around fcking people). And he likes that Jin is teasing him (this whole "adore me" and around ch 24 there was a scene between them where Jin teased Jian that he likes when Jin is playing dumb etc).
While Jin is a more complex character. He works for Jitae, so I can kinda see that he is using Jian as part of the plan, that is why he doesn't want him to die, because he is an important character in the plan to bring down that btch.
But somewhere on the way, I think he started feeling bad for Jian (I wouldn't say started to like him, at least not in a romantic way), as you can see in some scenes, where Jian does freaky stuff and Jin's jaw/face slightly changes as he watches.
Also he noticed that Jian is using sex and drugs as some sort of self destruction, which made Jin feel bad for him as a person (not as a part of the plan), so on his own way he is trying to save Jian by trying to keep him close ("adore me", don't use drugs etc.) , which is obviously not working lol
So all in all Jin is playing hard to get because he knows Jian likes it, but I have some doubts about his true feelings for Jian.
ANYWAY the sexual tension between them is crazy good.
wait wait.. Suryeon (the mother) sad she has a secret with the grandfather that nobody knows...
I'm pretty sure the grandfather requested her to kill Jitae's mother
This chapter was a TEASING! I love the tension between Jian and Jin, their interactions are so sexy and full of tension. And Jian's story is so interesting, I love it
This chapter is like a reference to the Ghost's Nocturne lol
I'm more invested in Jian's story than the main couple lol

I guess it's popular for the father-stepson kink, but there is barely any story, it's mostly just sex. The actual story starts around ch 44, which is like last third of the story. Until that there is a sex scene in like every chapter, and even after that every second chapter. The ending is very rushed, the drugged sex scene is very unnecessary, they should have just sent Pilgyun to hospital.. And psychiatry, like it's so unbelievable, that after being a serial killer for years, and wanting to kill everyone who touched his stepfather, he just goes back to being s normal university student???
And the way thex kidnapped and killed two big gang leaders?? Like it was the easiest thing ever lol then why did they have to suffer for years?

Because at the moment it is about a man and his stepson fcking in EVERY chapter. Like literally, every chapter has a sex scene
It's a small detail but Jitae made a french toast to Mieum a few chapters ago, bit turns out it was Mieum who taught him how to do that T_T
I just remembered that Kyungjoon thinks that Nok and Jaeshin are relatives lol so to him Nok is gay AND in love with his own cousin or something lmao
Just an interesting moment in this chapter, Jaeshin's scar has fully healed right after the fight, but he saw that Nok's mind was full of worried thoughts of Kyungjoon, so he said that his injury still hurts T_T
In chapter 26 Jitae remembers their first meeting, it's the same as in the new chapter, but in Mieum's pov T_T Mieum is an angel
