i think from what i’ve read that he just fell out of love for her, that’s why she expects the same thing to happen with the ML. i wonder if the author will address this though, especially since we’re learning a lot more about their relationship
I actually don’t think he fell out of love with her .. I feel like that love has just changed.. before when they first met, it was more of a wholesome type of love, but after living in poverty and seeing other people’s lives in comparison to theirs, I feel like he fell into a lot of self loathing and insecurities, and began to project that onto her.. so now the love has become more toxic than caring

I’m so damn sure that Andrew’s gonna go on a full obsessive mode when it comes to Luke. We can see the hint in these early chapters. It’s always funny to me how a super nerdy guy with no passion or so previously has found Luke to be the centre of his universe. I absolutely go crazy over such dynamics. I’m actually scared and excited to see how their reactions are gonna be in future especially seeing Andrew falling harder and harder for Luke.
