normally i don’t leave comments but this entails one. a realistically depressing story of generational trauma and how a wounded person would never make a good parent. every single adult failed this poor boys life. none of them took the mother as seriously mentally ill and continued to overlook her feelings, already having nothing to lose, she harbors hatred for her son, who is only ever obedient, until he tries to break free when she snaps on a hiking trip, and failing, ultimately going back again and again, just showing how deeply traumatized he had become. only ever thinking of his mother, thinking he had no other point in life, never living for himself, sadly, even the girl who could understand him was only there for a short moment of his life, both moving on from eachother. tragic story. ☹
