Good theory but meowie has his own spinoff novel The ML there is Cheon Noeul (not Sunset) Sunset does appear but that's because it's a shared universe with My Guildmate Next Door

I don't understand why people always get this confused. The main arc (flashback arc) they are in their last year of middle school. We have not seen them in high school at all.

Correct, Jian Yi disappears on the second day of their first year of high school. But we never have seen their high school years at all. The main story (flashback story) was getting closer to them graduating, but who knows if we will go back to the main story again.

Over the years I have had to explain this so many times, in the comments. And so many times I have been accused of making spoilers just because people didn't understand that for years we had been reading a very long flashback. I never understood where all these people got lost

Yes, she saw him on tv and went to their house but Hyesung didn't want to see her, only talked to her for a little bit through the door.

I think it was part of the main story towards the end. She wanted to see Hyesung but he refused to see her. I don't think she really meant it, but she blamed Hyesung (partially) for why they never reconnected during his childhood. I really dislike her for that. It makes me feel a little icky that Byul is hanging out with her and letting her know about Hyesung's life when she deeply hurt him.
