I don't know what it is, but I kinda don't like this so far. MC seems more naive than when the story started (which is fine! I just wish they'd established that as a part of his character during the first chapter) And I get the mysterious love interest turned manipulate trope, but it seems really out of place here. For this trope to work, ML needs to stick to it for a while before changing over time to be more kind, otherwise it just looks like he just manipulated the MC for no reason. After he said he'd help him out for sex he's been nothing but kind afterwards so it doesn't really justify that part of his character and he doesn't bounce off of the MC. I hope this makes sense to someone
Hello! Just started this recently and I'm all caught up. I really hated this in the start, the ML wait irritated me and it was taking ages for their relationship to pick up, but if you're in a similar position to me then I highly recommend just getting through it because it's absolutely worth it! Their dynamic is really interesting and it was really satisfying to watch the MC break through ML's shell

I dropped this ages ago when it started coming out and I randomly decided that I'd give it another try and honestly I'm so glad I did
If you're someone who struggles with intrusive thoughts then Takamada is a really relatable character in some aspects. Especially the parts about refusing to meet loved ones half way on any of those intrusive thoughts out of fear you might hurt them badly
I too almost dropped this on the early chapters it was a struggle to go past the hard parts but it became a great read once their relationship was becoming wholesome ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I agree, though I don't blame people who still find that early part of their relationship too distracting or too hard to get past :')
