At first I was gonna drop this immediately, but after reading through, I think the author actually did a good job at meshing how real world abuse can present itself with the aspects of Dom/Subverse. All the things they uncle says to MC when he starts to question his situation like "I'm doing this for you" "this is your fault" "I didn't mean what I said" "don't tell anybody" are very standard abuser tactics and it was also good that the seme pointed out everything that was bad. Too many yaoi's I've read there the MC is being sexually abused by a family member and the seme is just like "I can't let you have him" and they never ever explain to the uke why this kind of relationship is disgusting and abusive and/or it's never even addressed in the story. I will say, in the grand scheme of the story, it was a little disappointing to watch the seme and the MC be sexual the first time they met, especially since the seme basically blackmailed him, and also I don't think it was necessary for them to have sex at the end but I do get it in the context of the universe. Overall it was a decent read
I have a lot to say about this yaoi but my least favourite aspect was how the uke was immediately introduced as a hardcore masochistic, to the point that his job made him hard, and then it immediately became irrelevant
This story is all over the place. To start the author needs to stick to one genre because it being an omegaverse + BDSM + college + all the other side tropes is making a lot of those genres dwindle out. This story would basically be exactly the same without the BDSM and if it weren't an omegaverse, the only genre making this relevant is that it's set in a school setting. Another thing is that I'm sick of this tired trope of guy who is very obviously much better for the MC and guy who treats the MC horribly but the guy who is horrible to the MC gets chosen because he has some tragic backstory that tries it's best to justify his shitty personality or the story makes the actual good option do something bad that's out of character (in this case, almost biting MC and beating up ML) just to make him look worse. Your story shouldn't need to do something extreme to justify why your audience should be routing for the couple you've established. The ML is basically a grapist (not just to MC but to others) and it's glossed over so casually (and even completely dismissed when the childhood friend is completely right in assuming ML is forcing himself on to MC) because of the 'bdsm' plot. The MC is shown over and over to not enjoy it but they used his first heat (WHICH THEY ALSO JUST CASUALLY GLOSSED OVER HIM HAVING???) to justify him suddenly enjoying sex. The ML is obviously written to have a backstory that parallels MCs backstory in that they were both groomed (Before ANYONE brings it up, yes, 2 years isn't a big age gap and normally this would not be grooming or even a big deal, but he intentionally went after someone he was tutoring and then waited until he was old enough to have sex. He then used his authority to manipulate him into liking the kinds of sex he was not initially comfortable with and then attempted to gaslight him and manipulate him into sex when ML expressed feeling uncomfortable with his abscess. Grooming isn't about how big the age gap is, it's about power dynamics, and he used the fact that he was more experienced than ML to manipulate ML and put himself on a pedestal so he could eventually have sex w/him) But it's not even portrayed well enough to show those impacts because of how everything is glossed over and it just makes it look like an excuse for how horrible the ML is. I will say, this isn't awful at all, I don't hate it either. Rather I'm actually quite excited to see where this goes, but it didn't make it any less frustrating to get through. Also everyone pay respects for yet another horrible BDSM dynamics representation
Everyone stfu it's gonna happen. Next chapter. This is not a drill

They are literally "let's take ibuprofen together"
I see the comments arguing and tbh I'm on both sides. This was super cute and it was lovely to read something fluffy where they obviously love each other. It's also realistic for college students and people around our age in general to be childish about relationships like this, but it was also extremely frustrating to watch neither of them talk to each other when they thought they had problems, and this was easily something that could've been resolved in the second chapter with a simple conversation
