For those who want to know what's to come in the upcoming 15 ish chapters, read this thread of my explanation. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

So, in the upcoming chapters we learn the big secret behind the mirror and Nephthys.
Seth really was happy with Nephthys and the idea of having a child.
Read ahead if you wanna know more.
Seth was actually empty inside and his sole happiness was Nephthys and later, also Anubis. He really loved them so much. We even see a scene of the before and after of him sleeping with Nephthys.
With the mirror, Nephthys looked inside it because Osiris stole the mirror from Ra(?) and gave it to Seth and Nephthys as a souvenir after returning from war. Seth told Nephthys to throw all the souvenirs away, but she ended up looking at the mirror by accident.
When the eyes of Mirror Sekhmet and Hathor open, does the mirror have its full effect. If Sekhmet's opens up, it makes your deepest desire 10K fold stronger to the point where you go mad, like we saw that time with Horus SA-ing Seth in season 1. When Hathor's eyes open, it makes the person you love fall in love with you, but only if you see that person and trapping you only if the eyes of Hathor open. And since it didn't open with Horus when he looked in the mirror and he saw Seth in S1, he didn't get trapped because Hathor's eyes didn't open.
In Nephthys' case, both eyes opened and she got trapped because she saw Osiris. She really did love Seth, and her desire to tie down Seth forever was by having a child. Its unknown when Osiris took Seth's seed, but Nephthys became so desperate because of the mirror. So, she asked Osiris for a child.
The blue gem reveals the ancient god Horus the Elder to Nephthys and Horus.
Seth gets trapped in the cave for 3 days because of the cat, and ends up seeing a pyramid in the stars. And Seth starts to think of Horus' eyes after thinking that being stuck in there wouldn't be so bad, since no one would remember him but would certainly remember Horus. Of all people he thinks of Horus, which is really cute. Once the little girl finds him using the village's blue gem, does he comes out.
They meet the priest at this village and the priest reveals that there was someone who destroyed their village and city hundreds of years ago. This unknown identity destroyed the temples of truth of Thoth. So much more info is revealed but basically, there are 8 gems and 4 temples. The truth and final temple is in the moon.
Also, FG is getting fed up and threatens to fight Egypt and go to war unless Seth comes to him. Seth is smart and starts to calculate his enemy, but Horus is young and immature and pretty much says, "bring it on." Seth gets hella angry, saying that Horus is so ignorant and stupid for thinking he can take FG on.
Anyway, I haven't really read the latest chapter, for the plot is setting up for a long adventure of finding the stones and the truth. Horus also tells them that he saw a figure in the walls that looked like him, aka HTE, saying he could be a reincarnation now. And FG didn't see anything apparently. My guess is it only works for Egyptians.
Anyway, this season is gonna be LONG AF! Can't wait till the love story starts blooming. I'm sure it's gonna start happening on this adventure.
ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
The season won't end until the hieroglyphs are completed for it, and it'll end with Seth having already fallen in love with Horus.
My guess is the reason Seth was so empty was because a part of him missed HTE. It doesnt explicitly say he was empty, but in the flashbacks it shows - you can see it. He perhaps loved HTE, but ended up killing him according to the hieroglyphs.
Seth wasn't living for himself during the time of the flashbacks in the upcoming chapters, but for others. Which most likely, he and the other siblings lost their memories after becoming gods. And I'd like to think that Seth with Horus - in the past and present- ends up falling for him because he finally has a purpose to live for himself.

Pardon me for this I'm not the brightest tool in the shed but what I'm getting from this is Seth and horus will eventually surely end up together as endgame? omg I stuck around since the beginning when it first came out only in the hopes of them getting their happy ever after I'm willing to go thru all angst and more if they'll really be the couple. Your spoilers give me hope and anticipation

Yes! They really are the endgame couple! The author has been hunting at it since the very beginning.
I know a lot of people don't like Horus and think he's boring, but he's a fascinating character when you really analyze him. He has a childlike soul, is strong, confident, gentle, understanding, assertive, yet he has flaws like being jealous, relying too much on his intuition, letting go of his responsibilities, and being impulsive in some ways, I.e challenging FG.
With that said, we don't know what he was like in his previous life. We don't know if he will obtain all those memories again and no longer be the childlike and "immature" Horus. He'll probably be even more full of wisdom, more level headed, and mature. He's the perfect fit for Seth.
He makes Seth work on his atonement and is there for him. He's seen the ugliest sides of Seth and still willingly accepts him. Seth has learned to let his walls down and had become vulnerable to him. Seth is slowly learning to accept himself, his past and present.
Also, Seth has learned that he shouldn't be so emotionally impulsive and decide to do things on his own. So slowly he learning to rely on Horus.
Anyway, sorry for the rant, I just wanted to express some examples of why Horus is end-game material.

Nooo don't be sorry for the rant! I'd have read n ate up Even if it was more lengthier than this one honestly speaking. Also this para really captures horus's character sketch tbh n I loved how you phrased everything there was to say about him. I wish more people were able to understand him in this level of detail but ig to each their own I'm terms of perspectives.... Anyway thank u thank u so much!!!!! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Okay, I'm sorry for my bad explanation. I'll attempt it again, but better.
So we have two mirrors. One that Seth and Osiris were both in front of at some point in time and then the second mirror is the mirror Nephthys saw Orisis thru and Horus saw Seth thru.
The second mirror has TWO figures: Hathor and Sekhmet. Go back and look at them in the 40s chapters of S1.
So, the big thing with the mirrors is Sekhmet and Hathor eyes open when casting a spell. The difference between what happened with Horus vs Nephthys is that Hathor's eyes only opened with Nephthys because she saw someone she didn't love, thus it trapped her memories and love she had for Seth in the darkness of the mirror. That's why her heart wasn't lying when she said under Mat's heart scale that she didn't love Seth. Because the part that loves Seth is in the mirror.
However, for both Horus and Nephthys, Sekhmet's figure's eyes opened, which that spell deepens your deepest desire by thousandths fold. It makes you crave that and desire it so bad you go mad and lose control of yourself.
Thats why Nephthys' biggest desire was having a child to tie down Seth to her. And Horus' biggest desire was to be with Seth.
The reason Sekhmet did that to Nephthys was, I believe, she wanted to prove a point to Osiris that he will never have Seth. Also, since Osiris stole the mirror, that his plans will never work as long as Sekhmet is there, she thwarted his plans.
Hope this helps clear things up.

Hiii I checked the twt links that you shared and read thru them and omg I'm Even more flabbergasted!!?? I always assumed that the hieroglyphics were just minute detailings the Author made for the background drawing but they are foreshadowing spoilers ????istfg shi made me want to learn ancient Egyptian script at 2am. Also there wasn't any mention of romantic involvement between Seth and elder horus but just the story of him killing him and isis declaring murderer. Can you elaborate please how you drew the conclusions that they mightve been a thing in the past or link me your sources? I'd love to read

You got me so hooked! So ch 171 Nephysis said that he saw smh and tried to stop it then he got killed, if so then it's either Orisis did smh with seth head and got him to murder Horus I assume or it was an accident somehow. I do also want to assume that the person who got everyone to forget everything about Horus was Isis herself.
My theory's Old Horus saw smh mf Orisis was planing to do he tried to stop it and got murdered by brainwashed seth (so do ya'll remember when did Sekhmet say when did Orisis implant the root thingy in seth? I just think it has to do with that). Isis witnesses everything and collects Horus ashes plant his shit in her womb (eww) and erases their memories so that no one knows or has any idea of what happened at that day.
I know this is all just crab and I'm lit on fire for the upcoming chapters now!!

WAIT A FREAKING SECOND!! So all the writing in the wall actually MEAN SOMETHING!! And they foreshadowing!! GOD I haven’t seen Such attention to details since gravity falls.
Honestly this Manwha is amazing, at the beginning all I wanted was for them to kiss already!! But then the lore got more and more intriguing, you rarely ever see BL written like this now days.

I heard somewhere that after the prince goes crazy because Li Qing goes missing, he finds him eventually and makes him suffer again? How so?
Also, I heard that LQ dies and never has a happy ending. This makes me so sad... Is this true? ㅠㅠ

I don't remember the ending cuz I gave up after they tried to whitewash JQ, but there was this incident where LQ lost his memories and was 7 y.o mentally, but was really afraid of JQ.
Tan guy took the opportunity to try and marry him as well as consummate but LQ had sexual trauma so he scurried away which drove tan guy mad. He concluded he gotta kill JQ to get LQ.
But further down the road LQ got hurt by the tab guys men instead of JQ cuz those assassins knew LQ was JQ weakness.
There was a scene after this where they were escaping in a dessert and they were really thirsty especially LQ. JQ sacrificed his extremely cherished horse and their escape means to feed LQ blood.
Aannnd that's when I gave up. All of this became too tiring and repetitive. Like LQ is already on the verge of death and he suffers so many injuries in the future you just can't fathom how he's still alive lol. I think he even died for a few hours in future chaps but that was some ploy by tan guy to make JQ give up.

Spoiler
From what I remember, the Seme eventually kidnaps Uke. They were ambushed, and Uke needs sustenance yadayada and Seme gave his own blood to feed Uke. And Seme was badly injured while protecting Uke from Bandits.
That pretty much the Seme’s red redemption arc.
It’s a stupid comic honestly.
obviously just an anger-inducing manhua to generate viewers and money.
That’s how Chinese comics are.
So don’t expect much.

Hey fans!
Here's a link to the poll the author posted asking which art we like better, season one or three!
I put season 1 because... Well.... Common. Anyway! Please vote!

for me, i felt like the new style gave the characters more edge to them - which fits the vibe of the story! i do know that some people don't like it because of the heavy shadows and airbrushed look but i think the artist does the style very well.
but in the most recent chapter, the styles seem a bit mixed ?? i guess they went back to the season 1 style and added some more elements from season 3

I did noticed that compared to the first few chapters of the 3rd season.
IDK, the colors being so vibrant and pop out, also the blown up pictures makes it hard to enjoy the story for me because I feel like I have to scroll so much just to see all that's happening. And for a story with lots of dialogue, it becomes difficult.
I think what was a dream was him sitting in that chair embracing his younger self. That really hit home for me for I have embraced my younger self that haunted me.
This really is pretty much what happened to me, for I was SA as a kid and I hated myself for most of my life. I thought it was my fault and my fault for not saying anything because my sister became a victim after me.
I hated being a girl whose roll is to be a baby maker according to the cult of Mormonism I was raised in.
I hated being born because I felt like, because of me, my mother couldn't be free. Because of her kids, she couldn't even buy herself a pair of pants.
I still struggle with self esteem issues, but not to the extent of before. I have learned to let go of those passed burdens and now just need to work on my present self and learning to forgive myself for mistakes I presently make.
It's been a hard 31 years for me.
