I think what a lot of people are disappointed about is that all season 1 didn't have any rape scenes.
But people be acting like this is the first yaoi with r*pe scenes, there's worse out there. It sucks, but it wasn't intentional because Matthew was under the influence.
Unlike some fan favorites like PotN, Night Song, BJ Alex, and much more the seme don't feel the least but of remorse!
This story is MEANT to be dark because we are dealing with mafias and shit.

The author's other work got really bad ratings because the what the seme did was absolutely horrible and disgusting, I even was queezy because it went TOO far imo!
And at least for this story, this was like your average yaoi rp scene. Also, Matthew feels SO bad afterwards. He feels like like a piece of garbage and doesn't blame Jin if he chooses not to forgive him. Matthew is not a horrible person inside... He's just broken and was under the influence of drugs.

I started reading it/binging and I can now see why people say he's a Yandare. This guy's a freak. It wasn't bad but yeah it got really bad. It made me uncomfortable. I dropped it after that one chapter in the 40s. Like what in the actual...!
If you don't like rape in stories it's probably not for you, afterall, out of all the stories with toxic seme I've read, the rape scene here is probably the worst in my opinion. However, I stayed probably because I love how they are both crazy, there's no cheating and the seme is obsessed with the the uke.
not the worst i’ve ever read but also not the best. it has a-typical yaoi rape(tsar gets angry and takes it out on mc with sex, that sort of thing), obsessive/ possessive behavior. so many red flags but i still liked it.

I'd give it a solid 8.5 mostly because of the shooting and rape
But compared to other seme's out there randomly beating their uke or giving them mental torture ,gaslighting and forcing uke in gang rape using uke for pleasure and not caring about uke's welfare all through out like tens of chapter and be regretting for like 3 to 4 chapter and easily forgiven for good looks
tsar is actually better but when the line is crossed he is also very dangerous not gonna lie about that but anyways so it's like his a walking red flag but with a trigger so it's safe if you know where to not step out of line
