why do people dislike seoha so much :/ i mean the assault when sleeping was bad but even before that a lot of yall already not vibing with him. he was very sweet and it was wonyul that kept running away and back to gongju without even trying to properly confront and talk to him. seoha was literally trying to communicate. seoha also always reassures yul and admits his mistakes and apologizes.
it's not like gongju's all too perfect as well. to the person saying gongju is the only one not pretending, it's obvious this guy's still in denial about his feelings lol. he kept saying he was the first one but he was also the first one who kept denying yul just because that's his "philosophy". if anything he's the second indecisive one after yul among the three. he also took advantage of yul at the start and is up to making a move on him even when asleep.
if the story introduced the part with gongju first and how keeps denying that they can be dating then im sure yall would also have not preferred him over seoha lol. not saying i prefer one over the other but i just dont get why seoha is getting this much flack when he has been sweet throughout...
i notice, with anything that remotely resembles a love triangle yall always side with the rough one, is this like a common preference or something? i guess anyone that comes off as a bad boy is an immediate pick. like i understand if you just love bad boys that much but pretending that seoha is so much of a worse option than gongju is delusional.
anyhow ill do all of you one better seoha x gongju/ gongju x seoha switch pair. take it or leave it.
it's so easy for readers to attribute this to miscommunication but literally it's very understandable for uke to feel that way because of his past experience and also valid for seme to feel like he isn't trusted cause he doesn't know ╥﹏╥
this is such a normal thing to happen and it now depends on what actions they will do afterwards that decides whether it's gonna be an actual stupid miscommunication or not.
also can we not dismiss any potential relationship growth arc as "merely miscommunication" just because their relationship isn't perfect nor smooth sailing? it feels like readers these days can't handle even just a bit of spats and it's kinda an unhealthy mindset - thinking that a relationship MUST be perfect. not everybody is immediately comfortable sharing everything at the drop of the hat ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ that's why it's a relationship, obviously there will always be room for growth. not everything is stable from day 1.
it started really good and so my type but it fell off around ~40 chapters in. it was beating around the bush. it focused on reused arguments a lot where some of them didn't even make sense. because of that, a lot of its potential was lost. instead of going further into geonyeong's character development and approach to communicating with others, or wonwoo's growth to realizing what he wanted to do starting when he was injured, it laid on thick on scenarios that got overused. so now we get a somewhat sudden jump in their behaviors which would've made so much more sense if the chapters were used for something else. lots of the plot points author raised beforehand weren't explored... it's a shame.
went into this with no expectations but surprisingly really loved it. both the leads aren't flawless but they're really likeable, even moreso exactly because they aren't perfect. love how yuwon isn't a pushover and knows when to say no. dojin is a bit pushy, especially at the start, but knows how to listen and apologize (he even frequently does!)
i appreciate how the story doesn't just constantly portray one or the other as wrong. there are times when both of them are either right or wrong or both and they reconcile. their reactions to situations are really believable as well. especially love it when dojin always asks what's wrong or what he did wrong instead of yuwon constantly avoiding him. he knows the importance of communication, rare! there's also a lot of other instances where events are slowly getting hinted at from the start instead of it being thrown at you right off the bat (like how dawol discovered their relationship, he was already slowly suspecting from the early chapters)
the story doesn't feel like a drag cause each chapter feels eventful. i guess it's because author is utilizing timeskips so efficiently and properly without ruining the pacing. and i love how we can actually properly see the slow progress/reasoning as to why they fell for each other. it's also really funny without trying too hard at times too.
and bonus points cause the sex scenes are so well done. the buildup is always great and the author always finds a way to spice it up. i really love it when yuwon says he wants it and is really upfront when he doesn't. it makes the sex feel better(?) since we know when he's really enjoying it compared to other BL of the same trope (playboy seme/fwb trope) where it's more dubious if they want it or not.
ALSO THE FEMALES AREN'T BEING USED AS VILLAINS, WE CHEER.
AND ALL OF THESE ARE VERY TRUE FOR THE SIDE COUPLE. THIS MANHWA IS GOLD. characters are far from perfect but this looks to me like healthy realistic relationships

the author did so well during higuchi's venting damn... I literally could feel his emotions through the screen. I've been encouraged by my parents before to become a surgeon but I've always thought I didn't have the courage to bear someone's life with my own hands so I never went into it. so much respect for them man... ╥﹏╥
