i love the pacing so much and each character has depth to them. their experiences aren't presented in a way that makes it seem shallow or flashy - some works present trauma just for the sake of spicing things up and feel very half-assed but it isn't the case for this at all.
hopefully they end up becoming happy. if anything happens that breaks them apart im actually gonna be heartbroken cause they seem too perfect for each other right now
at first and especially midway i kinda thought this didn't deserve the high rating - most of the time, deep topics were trivialized and it annoyed me especially when they were fighting/arguing and it was immediately solved by seunghyuk acting cute. but by the end, especially after woojin used the analogy of his broken arm to what's happening to seunghyuk, it made me appreciate the story better. it's like all the past events weaved into that one moment. woojin bottling up his feelings and it spilling by then was made better exactly because their past arguments were easily brushed off. it's like i also felt his frustration.
i also like how seunghyuk's realization of his feelings was more gradual rather than abrupt - it all started since way before they broke up rather than in most cases where signs of seme realizing only comes up a few chapters before/after their huge fight.
i kinda have some problems with the pacing sometimes, maybe it has to do with the art or its presentation? but overall it's a good story. woojin's speech on that christmas day will remain my favorite.
also skimmed a bit of the raws. can't read japanese but assuming from the panel pacing it seemed a bit rushed towards the end (for my standards). if it had 2 chapters more it would've been cleaner.
i was trying to upload it here the past days as raws but irdk how so i just uploaded it on my gdrive. if you still wanna check it out. if it gets jumbled, just sort it by name

what i dont like is the seme saying that about uke in front of kitahara (the yuki onna). girl was genuinely just trying to befriend uke and uke was happy she was talking to him and he decides to just blurt lies to ruin his image? i was hoping seme would clear it up but damn he didn't, that was so low ngl. he also did a similar thing in front of his friends tf, good thing they didn't misunderstand.
seems to me like he's too possessive and it's a bit toxic? it's a bit weird cause seme was worried that uke is alone most of the time but he's doing stuff that'll make uke get isolated lmfao
also "broke their promise" my bro, it was an order

their relationship is cute and carefree for a yakuza story, it's refreshing
the only gripe i have is that takanari agreeing to succeed the group was more of him thinking "as i thought it has to be me" rather than "i want to do it". his realization stems from the fact that he's the one that's most aware of what's "normal" in the group and that he's accustomed to this "normal" so he's more suited and thus he does it. he mentioned in the first chapters that he disliked the conflict that's why he didn't wanna succeed so him changing his mind is obviously him getting pressured into the place rather than him loving it. especially that ayano was one of the stakes - which i really disliked and im glad it went away from that focus but it's still one of the catalysts as to why takanari started doubting his decision.
it's not enough for me to dislike the story though, just really don't like how the succeeding played out.
Yeah, I get that too. But I think he's the type to go with the flow anyway and seems like his family runs a Yakuza style without the dangerous business, so it's more like a normal business. Being CEO isn't probably his best thing, but he's at least capable. That's what I told myself anyway..
also telling myself that and also someday he'd grow and mature to be a reliable leader that looks out for his group - which that in itself makes the job enjoyable for him haha
Yessss. Although I'm already seeing it because he seems to be very responsible and level-headed.
