their relationship is good but I personally would prefer more lovey dovey scenes. I'm grasping at those few "i love you" crumbs ╥﹏╥ and some individual development I guess? I know this isn't really a serious manga but I would've loved if there were touching moments about each of them making the other a better man... it was kinda exhausting to read, in my opinion. No really, they're cute and sweet and I like the story but something feels lacking. Just me and my opinion and preferences though.

is Hiyori genuinely scared when he says he's scared while blushing or is he under that impression cause that's what he's taught it would feel like? his brother told him that when a demon eats you, you become afraid and pleasure kicks in but I don't think that was the case when Yakushi attempted to "eat" him. or is it the type of scared that comes when you really feel good (lol idk I haven't experienced so...)

wow I didn't expect a lot of people to have mixed feelings about this. I think it's a cute, chill story. I wonder why people think the seme played with the uke's feelings? It didn't come off to me as that at all. Just as he said, he just wanted to maintain their relationship and didn't want to be hated. That's why in the first place, he asked the uke to not involve himself with him at all (after the kiss and confession). He rejected uke's confession at first because of the possibility that what he was feeling might not be love (thus him saying "you're just under the impression"), which is not a rare thought when you're the first one to like a person. I personally don't see anywhere where the seme was particularly being a jerk, he was just wary of advancing things with him thus his "ironclad rule" of not doing anything nor planning to date the uke.

I don't think he was ngl, I think he genuinely thought he was doing the right thing and he was, People might just guessed he's manipulative because 1. He's older 2. He was the one making all the decisions from the beginning, but it was all for the black hair guy. I personally don't like their age gap too but ngl this story was good
im having mixed feelings but this was so cute! i think the master was like the evil for the greater good or something. he's like an ally to the unfortunate people (like the one who got bullied).
