Ok people probably know this already but tend to forget but...
Please be reminded that not all authors have the privilege to choose how long their series will be running. It depends on the editors too if they approve of it, and especially if it does well after that. Considering how the author started this in chapter 1, with how Godai was shown to be sleeping around not minding Yuki and the mystery running around Yuki himself, they might have really intended to have this run for more volumes. But by chapter 3 or so that mightve changed because of editor decisions and other stuff. It's only obe volume, it could've been more, but these are circumstances that happen more often than not.
Please I hope you all understand this before shitting on how the story was presented.
This also reminds us that if a series is slated to run for volumes, we must support the author monetarily to let the publishers know that it's in demand, or else it'll end up getting rushed because of axing.
I'm not saying this was rushed because of lack of support, cause it must've been really planned as just a volume but the author considered going for more but was rejected or didn't have the chance to convince the publishers. I'm just saying that if it's already announced that a manga would run long, it's really important to give them as much support as you could so it'd continue as intended. Heck, you can even support authors who just release one volumes only so that the next time they create a work, they'd be trusted to have an on-demand work and would be given the chance to have more than one volume!
I'm not forcing anyone to buy, just that if you can, you should. If you can't, spread it to others that can. That's all!
I actually rly enjoyed this work although it had some plot holes(which I didn’t even notice before reading the comments). In a way, the author is already really amazing for making the story flow pretty decently and think its def worth a read uwu

This is so good! I wish it was longer and the events were more spaced out... But the author prolly was unsure and made it safe by compressing it to one volume only. It has lots of potential to be a long series to be honest!!! I'm kinda sad cause there were a lot of holes becaude it was kinda rushed. Still a really good read though! Please support the author monetarily too!
I believe Botan is already good but this arc would definitely make her better! I'm positive she wouldn't break over this because of the manga's atmosphere!
okay so after rereading... why do i feel uneasy about them hahaha i mean no one cheated or anything and there were no big drama but they're the type of couple that gives me the vibes of being toxic eventually or be exhausting... just for me though
omg i’m thinking the same thing. chika has spent so much time rejecting ryo but then instead of rejecting him he says they can only kiss and then tells him to move to hokkaido with his parents to find a cute girl..... he still hasn’t properly voiced his feelings for ryo and it’s just very weird idk
Yes! Everyone is acting like Ryo is the jerk but Chika knew is feelings and never gave him a clear answer while also leading him on #－.－)
oh i thought a lot more people would disagree with me hahaha as for me though i feel it from both sides. i think it's gonna be the lack of communication, the misunderstandings, the assumptions. i cant quite clearly put a finger on it though
