I've never been happier to see a callback in a manhwa. That was one of the scenes that sincerely stuck in my mind the whole time I continued to read this and the fact that they addressed it feels so good. Now he knows the truth and he's feeling the guilt and shame for the way he treated yeon-oh. It's the bare minimum but it's been years since I've read a manhwa where it wasnt just a "we're gonna completely ignore the terrible shit this person has put their partner through and say that it was the power of love that brought them together and they live happily ever after". Jaehyuk expressing remorse and realizing that he is not worthy of yeon-ho's love is great. I know they end up together but at least yeon-ho has some backbone and he gave jaehyuk a taste of his own medicine
okay guys stay calm it's fine he's just a little ASPD coded nothing we cant fix fr tho if there had been some kind of early intervention some of his psychopathic traits could've been addressed and treated to a certain extent. Obviously didn't happen and i feel for the kid but it def puts sooyoung in some danger. He may not do anything directly TO sooyoung, but his behavior AROUND sooyoung (interfering in different facets of his life) could be trouble. I mean he already took someone's fingers. Even if it was deserved, the behavioral patterns are concerning. I don't see a psychological tag so who knows. Maybe things will turn out okay and I'm analyzing too much... but I digress... I really like how his the author wrote his background and inner thoughts. Very well done

Also I do feel bad for those whose native language is not english but I think the translations are fitting for the time period and I personally enjoy it (although I looked up when loverboy started being used and it was NOT that early)
I like this oneee it's obvious communication isn't either of their strongsuits and red head is an overthinker. Like me too bro i get you. It's hard when you constantly give but feel like you're getting nothing back. And Jeongmin just doesnt seem to know HOW to show that he cares... what the friend said to him was good bc it puts this into perspective a bit. Idk im into the slow burn it's a nice change of pace and interesting to see how different people approach relationships and how their communication styles clash a bit. Relationships are all about compromising and learning about each other anyways. Things take time. If you dont like this that's fine you dont have to read it but the way i see it this is progressing pretty nicely(づ￣ ³￣)づ

The psychological aspect of this is really well written. Heeso acting the way he does makes sense based on his past experiences. He's emotionally immature and at this point probably equates sex to love. He doesn't know what love means to begin with. At least not healthy love.The behaviors are inexcusable ofc but explaining reasons WHY somebody does something versus excusing the behavior are very different.
Taekyung also has an unhealthy attachment to Heeso but in a much different sense. He feels the responsibility put on him by Heeso's mother and felt like he couldn't disappoint her because of everything she did for him, but he never wanted to cross that boundary of actually getting involved with Heeso because nothing good could come of it... as we've seen already. He's desperate to keep Heeso safe, and bc Heeso has already expressed suicidal thoughts/actions, he most likely feels like he has to go along with his whims to keep him from spiraling. Although by doing this, he's encouraging the bad behavior shown by Heeso. The more he gives in and even participates, the worse the situation will get. Especially if at some point Taekyung tries to leave. Which I have a feeling is going to be a leading cause of what was shown in the first chapter.
It's a very compelling story the dynamics are obviously very toxic, but the characters have depth. I'm worried the abuse will be romanticized one way or another, but I'm curious to see how the author plays things out.
I really think Euntak and Hyobin would be good together... i know they're just best friends but... man... whatever it got pretty frustrating quickly we'll see how the rest goes

the black haired guy is def sus but the white haired guy is definitely aware of mc's feelings and chooses to ignore them to keep the distance there while still treating him nicely enough to get him to stick around...There's just little tidbits like when he grabs the mc or orders the mc to obey that rub me the wrong way IDK im really excited to see where this goes i love the art
