same! I was just thinking about how good this manga is but how many people might not check it out because it's unusual. maybe if it was turned into an anime it would get more popularity... I'm loving it though and I'm glad I found it. I think another perk about this manga is that the translation is top notch (translator-san if you're reading this, thank you!)
You might not like it but another good unusual manga came to mind but it's kinda fits in the horror and mystery genre: Yuureitou (clock tower mystery)

What's with all the hate on Johan? Can't you guys imagine what he had to go through and how it still haunts him? He's constantly blaming himself and he's shut himself off. He's broken. If anything, I would be surprised if he got back up so easily. He can't face his mother because he thinks it's all his fault, and he had to cut his friends off, possibly for a similar reason. It's insane if he can still spring back up like a super saiyan, it's honestly already such a feat that he can hold himself together right now. I think his mother plays a huge factor in him trying to keep his sanity. Anyway, I don't understand the undeserved hate on Johan. Not one bit.
