So let me get this straight what actually isekai’d Yulia here.

So Giana was being abused and controlled by her father who had the ancient magic(?) ability to turn back time in exchange for getting younger. Giana is the last of her siblings sent to fight Yulia and has the ancient magic ability of control.

The two years Yulia was thought to have gone tyrannical because of the hallucinogenic drugs similar to the ones the Lord of Tern was using is maybe partially false (which I am not surprised about. Her body is sturdy as SHIT which we saw when we watched her climb the exile tower). What actually happened was Giana’s father gave her a special needle that can make you completely possess the body of the person you stab.

So Giana was made to manipulate OG!Yulia’s sympathetic nature, was stabbed when she let her guard down and her soul was ejected into modern day Korea, reborn as a regular woman and living a full life with no memories of her original life, but having a strange affinity to the LN of her first life. Giana took over Yulia’s body and just PARTIED VILLAINOUSLY HARD for two years.

However, probably because Giana’s dad lost his last pawn, he turned back time once more when Giana was executed in Eustos’ rebellion, with her waking up at the tail end of her two year rule and Eustos’ once again building up his rebellion. Realising that living in Yulia’s body acting crazy didn’t grant her the freedom she thought she’d get, from either her reputation or her father, she yanked Yulia’s OG soul back from her modern Korea life but sealed away her memories of her first life, hoping she would not remember the way Yulia reached out to help Giana only to get betrayed. After she returned to her original body, she was punished by her father being locked up in that shackle room and started while our Yulia slowly rebuilt her strength, reputation and regaining her original memories.

I was looking at old topics I commented on and saw this updated a little and wow! The rapists in story 3 with the cleric actually get caught and EXECUTED ON THE SPOT! That’s nice. It’s not a full happy end as woman still got raped but it’s rare to see justice in hentai.

I got up to chapter 14 and I’m already fed up with it because she’s complaining about a problem entirely of her own making.

Either help him out and accept that will end up getting you involved or let him suffer his ptsd attacks and wait for the OG!FL to show up. Why is she all Surprised Pikachu that LITERALLY SOLVING HIS BIGGEST PROBLEM BEFORE THE OG!FL EVEN SHOWS HERSELF IS GETTING HERSELF INVOLVED?! Her choosing to step in to alleviate his symptoms only to then freak out and question her own choices later makes her look so indecisive and flaky to me and I’m so annoyed by it.

LIKE WHAT DID YOU EXPECT TO HAPPEN, WOMAN?

And what’s even more sad about this is I have no idea how the author could possibly rectify this problem. I understand that if the FL did stick to her guns and went Full Neutral Not-Involved, it would make her look very unlikeable to the reader. But they’ve also gotta keep the ‘I’m viewing this as a temporary position” shtick so they try to make her reluctant.

But maybe it’s a me problem that these two things are not gelling well.

…If this plan is doomed to fail, not because I think the narrative is setting it up for it (which it is btw but I digress), but because whoever possessed Rania’s body doesn’t realise a misaligned soul is just bound to be off-putting to people. For Camilla, it was to a GREAT extreme where everyone around her just HATED her in her other life because her soul just didn’t belong to that world in the first place.

For this Rania who’s trying to form personal bonds (for her own agenda but personal nonetheless), trying to get closer emotional is just… not… it. When Ravi was like “I don’t hate her but I don’t really feel like getting closer”, it just made me think of that.

Of course everyone back in that poor town where Camilla first met her liked her because she’s doing stuff for them. They don’t know her character, they don’t need to, but they know of her good deeds so SURELY she must be a good person. Similar to the way Camilla might have been universally off-putting to everybody close to her in her other life but she made it to being an award-winning top actress anyway.

Rania just has that effect at a MUCH lesser scale because while whoever it is may be in the wrong body, but they are still in the right world.

What kind of trauma do you have to have about your mother’s death which makes you kiss the nearest person who touches you? Aren’t you flash-backing about your MOTHER right now?

But there’s something about it that has just completely forgetting EVERYTHING about it the moment I’m done. Barely anything is sticking with me about it. I dunno why it is; it’s a perfectly functional story with a just-done-with-everything FL, simping ML who trails after FL because she is literally the solution to his problems and whatever face that tutor has (it is quite the design!)

I don’t even remember if we’ve seen this ‘time-limited black screen’ yet. I hope it sticks to me more by chapter 30.

I like a little jealousy sometimes but this is NOT one of them. Her jealousy better now blow their cover (although I suspect it might since she has genuinely broken the cuffs). I’m sick of that trope, especially after we just finished visiting his original home and dealing with that insecurity of theirs.

I guess I should’ve expected this. Zect couldn’t command an army. I guess it’s too much to expect him to command his little party of girls too. He didn’t even want to help out with chores.

Though I will say, this makes one thing he said right. These girls really are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to quality. All of the MC’s wives went to battle dragons to pull him back and yet the daughters immediately dipped even though Zect literally just sliced a dragon and they are the legendary party.

Eclat has confessed and our FL also has feelings for him, but I don’t really include them officially into her harem until she’s told them the truth about herself…which she hasn’t yet for Eclat.

The fact that he says his loyalty for her is all himself though and not duty is a good step. I just hope it holds true when she tells him the news.

I was not expecting this kind of scene so soon after Sieger. Though they have been simultaneously building this up alongside Sieger, I remember it was mentioned that Eclat doesn’t really talk much with her about anything other than work. I suppose it’s gonna be a pining fuck first, get to know each other later deal as opposed to Sieger’s get to know first, have marathon sex at the end deal.

Eclat has to be the type that bottles up his feelings then has them explode and unable to stop them again, I guess. I hope this will stop him from trying to hide behind the excuses duty and loyalty and propriety and finally let our FL learn about his personally.

For just a split second, I was mildly concerned that our MC was just gonna keep the ladies in their luxurious house and treat them like delicate queens even though they are still pretty strong women who also wanna get out there and fight and help him out.

But no, few pages later, he just lets them come along with no hassle and was only keeping them at home because he needed to work to get them actual gear beforehand. And you know what? That’s pretty level headed and reasonable; they were out of the field for a while and are pretty rusty. Beating up shitty men with your bare hands is a much easier time than beating up orcs with no weapon. Good on him.

Should’ve taken the mind reading chance. But if it’s a fear that negates something stronger than her truly loving marriage, her shame and (let’s be honest) her brainwashing, that is a REALLY DANGEROUS PERSON she was with that night.

I was looking for this series for the longest time after forgetting the title. Seeing the younger sister slowly realise the position she coveted from her sister was actually a VERY TOXIC WORKPLACE is great karma. And I await the day where Amelia’s ex will also slowly realise that his seemingly gloomy and incompetent ex who never got any if her own personal work done was actually being stifled by terrible work colleagues and he let and amazing person go.

Still though, Amelia is finally in a positive workplace but she is still upholding unhealthy work mindsets DESPITE knowing that the standards her old place had were not good. Thomas is a saint but the way she keeps trying to insist on more work despite Thomas saying there’s none is banter I do NOT enjoy. Someone needs to explain to her that it’s not necessarily the AMOUNT of time you work that dictates your usefulness, but moreso the amount of work you ACTUALLY GOT DONE. If you finished your list of chores, YOU DID GOOD WORK, GIRL. YOU ARE NOT SLACKING FOR FINISHING EARLY.

Thomas is so much nicer than me. If I gave her an order to take a break then learn she went to other employees trying to get more work from them behind my back, I would’ve been like “you’re really insistent in disobeying the one order I gave, huh?”
