The universe is telling her he's not for the corporate life lol. Tbh I don't see him being a proper house husband (cooking, cleaning, and stuff), though that might change. He likes to help around, maybe he'll end up doing something for the community with little to no pay.
To me it always feels the same with this author's works. Kisswood & Noru too, like they're good, but you kinda expected...more kicks (not necessarily action) to it, you know? Like it could've been more enjoyable and fulfilling.
