The first chapter is so well made. It reveals all the correct details about each character to make you hooked. I'm actually disheartened that it's only 9 chapters. Always the good ones the short ones.

Aeroc committed an unforgivable sin to rapael. Punish them is extremely vague. And what the hell did he think was going to happen. But he's also pitiful at the end. Kloff starts off vengeful, but is clearly projecting his selfish desires onto everyone around him. That includes rapael, aeroc and his children. He's just cruel.
Aeroc seems to retain all his traumatic memories with his abuser so idfk how they're planning to make it romance without willfully ignoring all details until necessary to make the scene heavy.
